✅ Currently, there doesn't seem to be any restrictions on bringing drones within US Virgin Islands as long as your import is considered as legitimate (generally one drone per person).

🚨 Be aware of the airline you purchase to travel as some main ones will only accept your drone on-board if its batteries are detached & placed in a firecase during travel time. Where can I fly my drone in US Virgin Islands?


✅ We did not find an official fly zone map for drones in the US Virgin Islands "If you have more information about this, please let us know in the USA Drone Discussion Group". Thankfully, app.airmap.io has listed all flight zones in a convenient way based on your flight intentions organised with a colour scheme.

🛬 Fly at least 8.1 km away from the islands' airports (Civil: Cyril E. King & Henry E. Rohlsen Airports / Military: Charlotte Amalie Harbor & Christiansted Harbor Seaplane Bases).


🦅 National parks & reserves require permission & you will need to check directly with the local park or reserve authorities. The Virgin Islands Coral Reef National Monument Park is a strict no fly zone as well as most of Saint John island.


🚨 Beware that the islands share a border with the British Virgin Islands and you should not fly near it.


💡 Smart! Pack some spare drone batteries, you never know how close is the next power plug overseas. Also make sure you have a travel adaptor for US Virgin Islands.
