Recreational vs Commercial drone use in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bosnia and Herzegovina does not differentiate commercial & recreational drone use. Both uses aren't officially regulated in the country just yet.
ā In countries without any regulation around drone use, the use of airspace would by default revert onto the country's civil or national aviation authority. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, this would fall under the Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA). You can contact them via email at bhdca@bhdca.gov.ba or via phone at (+387) 51 921 221
šØ Saying this, it isn't because their aren't any official regulation that you should do crazy things. As for a minimum behaviour, it is always advised to:
Avoid flying your drone near the 4 airports (Tuzla, Sarajevo, Mostar & Banja Luka).
Keep your drone in visual sight when flying and fly below 120 m during daylight.
Avoid flying your drone above people without their consent or moving vehicles.
Ask before flying your drone over public & military facilities.
it is advised to subscribe to an insurance covering all risks.
